Delete your BakeTally account

BakeTally is made by NicHallSoftware. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. It takes a few seconds and you don't need to ask us.

In the app

1. Open BakeTally and tap More.
2. Tap Your account (if you never added an email, it's called Keep your recipes safe).
3. Tap Delete my account and everything in it (or Delete everything on this phone) and confirm.

If you no longer have the app

Email nichallsoftware@gmail.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll do it within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Everything: your sign-in (email address), recipes, ingredients and prices, boxes and extras, customers, quotes, orders, payments, invoice numbers and settings. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. We don't keep a copy afterwards.

If you need your payment records for tax, export them first (More → Settings → Export payments).

What is not deleted

A subscription is billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions first. Apple, Google and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) keep their own purchase records, which don't contain your recipes or customers.
